'"Like A Rock"' is a song by Bob Seger from his 1986 ''Like a Rock'' album.
The guitar track was overdubbed by Rick Vito, and that version of the song became a part of popular and advertising culture. Perhaps most notably, the song and slogan ''like a rock'' were used in Chevy truck commercials for more than 10 years, one of the longest-running television commercials in history. It was also referenced in the movie ''The Weather Man'' with Nicolas Cage.
