'Kurt Ignacio Honold Morales' is the substitute municipal president of the Tijuana municipality since February 20, 2007 after Jorge Hank left office to pursue the post of governor of Baja California.
Honold, a 47 year old [1] public accountant is also the president of the Committee in Support of the Fire Department and previously held an unpaid position relieving the president of his duties in his absence[2]. Since 2000 Honold is a United States naturalized citizen[3]
He is married to María Elena Bórquez with whom he has two children, Carolina and Kurt Honold Bórquez[4]
