'Kpelle language' is spoken by the
Kpelle people.
The language is part of the
Mande family of languages.
ISO 639 defines it as
macrolanguage, with the more specific ones:
★ Guinea Kpelle [gkp] (also known as ''Guerze'' in French)
★ Liberia Kpelle [xpe]
This language is currently taught in schools in Liberia.
