'Korean with mixed script of Hangul and Hanja'(한자혼용; 漢字混用 or 국한문혼용; 國漢文混用) is a
Korean othography. It writes all
Sino-Korean to
Hanja, so the script is written in mixed script of
Hangul and Hanja.
History
Up to the 1970s, many books and newspapers were written in mixed Hangul and Hanja characters. Since then, however, the overwhelming majority are written in Hangul only. Today, there are few people left who write in the mixed script.
