'Kiwala‘o' (born ca. 1760,died July, 1782) was briefly the 7th Alii of Kohala, 5th Alii of Kona and 3rd Alii of Kau,and thus ruler of the island of
Hawaii , in
1782 following the death of
Kalani‘opu‘u ,his father.He was married in 1775 to his future consort,Queen Keku'iapoiwa Liliha ,through whose fathers (Keoua Kalani-kupu'uapai-kalani-nui Ahilapalapa) wife,Queen Kalola he was related to Kekaulike,the 22nd Mo'i of Maui.
He was killed in combat by Ke'eaumoku,at Mokuohai, in July 1782.
He had an only daughter,the future Queen Keopuolani-Ahu-i-Kekai-Makuahine-a-Kama-Kalani-Kau-i-Kealaneo ,who married his successor,
Kamehameha I .
