He is most known for the roles of Raoh (Fist of the North Star), Senbei Norimaki (Dr. Slump and Arale-chan), Shenlong, Tenkaichi Budokai Announcer, Recoome (Dragon Ball), Sally's Papa (Sally, the Witch), and Alex Louis Armstrong (Fullmetal Alchemist).
He founded his own voice acting talent agency, Ken Production.
