'Joseph Marcell' (born August 18, 1948 in St. Lucia) is a Caribbean-born British actor, best known for his work as Geoffrey the snooty English butler on the NBC sitcom ''The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air''. He has a son born in 1979 and a daughter born in 1989. He serves on the board of the Globe Theatre in London and is a British citizen.
