'John Mitchell' (Born January 22, 1985 in Waterloo, Ontario) is a professional ice hockey player.

Mitchell served as captain of the Plymouth Whalers in his final season with the team. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs and now plays for their AHL affiliate Toronto Marlies.
