'James Gurney' (born
1958) is an artist, best known as the creator and illustrator of the
Dinotopia books. He currently resides in
Rhinebeck, New York.
He is currently focusing on creating the next Dinotopia book and painting landscapes in the
New Hudson River School tradition.
