INE, KYOTO

is a town located in Yosa District, Kyoto, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 2,922 and a density of 47.14 persons per km². The total area is 61.98 km².

History

Ine was founded on November 3, 1954 by the merger of four villages.

Ine is governed by mayor Yoshimoto Hideki, an independent. The city assemly has 10 members.
