IMPERIAL YOUTH FEDERATION
This political entity was the "Youth Branch" of the nationalist Imperial Way Faction party. It was the Japanese equivalent to the Boyscouts of America. It tought children basic survival skills, life skills in general, tought cultural lessons, traditions and extreamly mild, basic, and brief weapons training, just to have a small understanding of things like, how to shoot a gun safely.
The Federation's leader was Lieutenant Colonel (later Colonel) Kingoro Hashimoto, who was in charge of leading the training of the young students and children. Membership in the organization was obligatory for Young children through grade school.
