HSINCHU COUNTY


'Hsinchu County' (; POJ: Sin-tek-kōan) is a county in northwestern Taiwan. It is officially administered as a county of Taiwan. The population is mainly Hakka; there is a Taiwanese aboriginal minority in the southeastern part of the county.
