'Holbrook' is a rural village situated close to the northern shore of the Stour Estuary.
To the south of the village is the Royal Hospital School (RHS) which moved to this site in 1933 after having been housed at Greenwich Hospital since 1693.
Holbrook's football team "AFC Holbrook" has enjoyed much success in recent years, building a proud reputation across the penninsula. The team play their home games at Reade Field, situated in the middle of the village, behind the Swan Pub.
Stand out members of the community include Dr S. & Mrs A. Dineen, Mr B. & Mrs P. Parrott, Rick and Jane from the Compasses, Gubby and Tom "deuces bigalow" Brown.
Mark is also a living here as well.

Opposite the Co-op is Holbrook Methodist Church and going out of the village towards the RHS is the church, All Saints. From time to time you may spot Ravin Dave performing a little jig.He hangs around the co-op alot bustin moves.Holbrook creek is also worth a visit.
