OLOF HIORTER

'Olof Petrus (Peter) Hiorter' (1696-1750) was a Swedish astronomer. He was an ''observator regius'' ("royal astronomer").[1] He studied the aurora phenomenon. Pehr Wilhelm Wargentin was his pupil.^[1]
