HENRY OF SPEYER
'Henry of Speyer' or 'Heinrich von Speyer', also called ''Graf im Wormsgau'' (965/970 – 989/1000) was the father of the Holy Roman Emperor Conrad II.
He was the oldest son of Count Otto von Worms and married Adelheid of Alsace or Adelheid von Metz, the sister of the counts of Alsace, (perhaps Lothair I, Louis the German, and Charles the Bald). She outlived him by many years and died in 1046. Little is known of his life, since he died at around 20.
He was buried in the Worms Cathedral along with his daughter Judith.
