HAWAIIAN RELIGION

'Hawaiian religion' is a form of Polynesian mythology originally followed by the inhabitants of the islands of Hawai'i.
It has four major ''Hawaiian Gods'' who existed before the world was created: Lono, Ku, Kane, and Kanaloa.

Lono-i-ka-makahiki ie: Lono is a fertility and music god who descended to Earth on a rainbow to marry Laka.

Papa is the mother Earth, wife of the sky god, Wakea, who, as a giant bird, laid an egg which became the island Hawaii. Wakea and Papa then lived there as the first man and woman.

Pele is a goddess associated with volcanoes and lava. There are many songs and hula dances about Pele.
