 | The Great Escape video walkthrough, Infiltration This covers Mission 7: Infiltration from the PS2 version of The Great Escape. Here's the original walkthrough I wrote for this mission: Mission 7: Infiltration Character: Hilts Inventory: Lock pick German Army Permit Objective(s): Find a Uniform You start the mission in crouch position get up and run straight to the fallen tree. When you get here go into a crawl and wait for the Soldier (with the flashlight) to walk away from you. When he does, run and crouch behind the mound straight ahead. Wait for Soldier #1 and Soldier #2 to walk away from you, then get up and run straight to the ditch with the fallen tree over it. Go into a crawl and peek up to see when Soldier #2 is walking away. When he does get up and run all the way to the Soldier's rest hut (check the map). An Officer patrols outside, just wait for him to move around the left side of the hut then run up the right side then make two lefts and head through the door. There's a Soldier sleeping in here, run right into the bedroom and grab the German Army Uniform. Immediately equip it. New objective: Enter Truck Depot Run back outside and over to the gate with the lights. Equip your German Army Permit and press "action" to show it to the officer. When he's approved you, run through the gate. New objective(s): Obtain the Truck Keys Obtain the Transfer Orders Obtain Truck Keys Run straight over to the Officer guarding the dark gate. Show him your papers, he won't let you in. Keep running straight then make a right and run along the fence until you find the gate. Equip the Lock pick and open the gate. An Officer patrols this area, (Note: Once through this gate, the Uniform will be useless), hide behind the various stacks of crates until you're past him then run into the depot (white, lighted door). Head inside. Save your game. Wait for the Guard patrolling to move into one of the tree storage rooms (the middle one usually), then grab the Truck Key off the table (check map). Obtain the Transfer Orders Run up the wooden steps and around the balcony into the second floor storage room. Walk over to the Officer patrolling, after some brief dialogue he'll turn around to verify your orders. Choke him. Run into the office and grab the transfer Orders off the table. New Objective: Exit the Area Run back outside, and hide behind the stack of crates. Save your game. Use the strategy you used before in this area until you get out of the restricted territory. Equip the Truck Key to unlock it then equip the Transfer Orders. Press "action" to get into the truck. Drive it out the gate and down the road to the checkpoint. Get out of the truck and show the Officer your Transfer Orders, then get back in and drive through the checkpoint and down the road. Watch the cinematic. |

 | TopoGun to Mudbox details transfer In this video you can see how you can transfer the very small details from a highres digital sculpt to a new one and create a Mudbox scene out of it. First, a very low poly cage is created in TopoGun and then TopoGun is used to create a highres subdivision surface that "wraps" on the original highres mesh using a novel algorithm. All the small details are recovered in the new sudivision surface. Then, the subdivision surface is exported to Mudbox and voila, you have a retopologized scene out of the original sculpt. This is great for those who create quick concept sculpts (from a subdivided box for example) but later want to continue their work on a retopologized mesh. TopoGun is compatible with Zbrush too.
