On X-6 I don't follow the "always cut one" rule, although you definitely still want to cut a lot of them individually. I usually afford myself one "big" cut per phase. I at least got fucked quite a few times when trying to record this. Stuff like the cardia spawns right on a red square or a red square spawns right under the cardia. There are a couple of ways you can lower the probability of this - like cutting a square in front of the cardia so it warps away at about the time a new red square would spawn, stuff like that, but you'll be fucked anyways. Anyways, as you know, this is the last operation for Vaughn. So I'm officially halfway done. I start work June 9th, so I might slow down a little bit then. Also, Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out June 12th, so I might stop updating around that time. We'll see. I already have 5 operations recorded since these are the easy ones, but I will hit some hard ones eventually obviously. |

And red loves Cardia back. We love neither. We cut out one at a time because we're used to going for score, and one at a time boosts the chain. Second part was easy enough, but when we got to the healing touch part... well, we fumbled because neither of us have played New Blood in a few weeks, much less tried to HT while recording. Oh well, we weren't really going for top score anyway (we already had top for a while, as KH on Multamaru's Wii). |
