![]() | "Artistic sculpture" tank charged with nitrogen 230 bar A weird mission we had to do at work (I work in the r&d lab of a society producing stations and components for natural gas, www.fiorentini.com). A so called artist wanted a sculpture that evidenced the sense of trapped matter and danger, that was a tank to be charged with high pressure gas. We chosen nitrogen to avoid internal oxidation. Our 16 bottle pack of 200 bar nitrogen was firstly directly connected to the tank, when pressure equalized at about 170 bar on both sides, we managed to use a comporessor, but this machine only could intake gas at atmospheric pressure. So we came out from the first stage pressure regulator placed just after the bottle pack (20 bar output) and connected it to a trunk of our testing lines including a second stage pressure regulator (20 mbar output) from which departed a rubber pipe that feed the 3 stage alternative compressor that pumped up the nitrogen again to 230 bar. And that's the final phase of that charging. |
![]() | Robot Pyrotechnics with a Versa Valve -- George School 2008 BEWARE! This video shows a HIGHLY DANGEROUS method of releasing propane into a flame and should NOT be attempted by amateurs or students without ADULT SUPERVISION! This year, some of our firefighting robots will use a solenoid value to dispense the CO2. (The valve was given to us by the Versa Valve Corporation as part of Trinity College's Fire Fighting Versa Valve Challenge.) While we were waiting for our pressure regulator to arrive, my students and I tested the system with low-pressure canisters of propane gas! (A 12g cartridge of CO2 is 500psi while the propane can is only 75psi. The operating pressure of the Versa valves is roughly 120psi.) Of course, dispensing propane is kind of boring -- until it comes in contact with a flame! So, here are the video clips of our successful and dynamic tests of our gas dispenser valves. The valves are actuated with a household 9V-battery, which is switched on and off with our homemade transistor-relay circuit boards. It all worked great, as you can see. Robodyssey Systems manufactures RAMB II motherboard you see here. The robot's brain is NetMedia's BX-24 microcontroller, which is programmed using the BasicX language. I am the author of the world's only BasicX textbook; if you are interested in learning how to program your own robot, see my website at www.basicxandrobotics.com. |

![]() | Hydrogen Enhanced Toyota Revo EFi PHILIPPINES Probably the first HHO-enhanced Toyota Revo Sport Runner 1.8 EFi Gasoline engined SUV in the Philippines. Hyper 7 - system 1 installed. No Flashback Arrestor needed, No blow up valves, No Relay Switch, No PCV Valves, No PWM, No EFIE, No MAP enhancers. THe difficult thing to do is reduce the idling speed to it's minimum. Increasing the air passage into the vacuum port after the throttle body naturally raises the idling... this is a good thing if inducing hydroxy gas is the objective. But not being able to reduce the idling speed defeats the purpose. So I adjusted the idling with the idling screw and the hydroxy inducement flow with a pressure regulator ball valve. The ticking sound of the engine disappeared afterwards... and it was purring like an electric rotor later on... like there's no mechanical movements inside... and more silent. It's just amazing. The Exhaust Emission also tells you a lot how an engine is doing. Most Race Car experienced drivers do this... (whats happens inside the engine - is manifested outside the end pipe.) |
![]() | Sicore - Gas Telemetry Sicore® Gas consists of a number of remote devices fitted at consumer's cylinders that report to software at the gas supplier's office. The data collected is used to avoid run-outs, schedule deliveries, optimize truck routes and more. Sicore® Gas is installed at a cylinder bank in conjunction with an automatic changeover regulator and a pressure transmitter. When one bank of cylinders is empty, the switch automatically changes over to the other bank and Sicore® Gas checks the situation continue monitoring the pressure after the changeover switch, validate if the occurrence is real and then sends the message. Our system is currently deployed in ~500 banks in Portugal and has a successful track record of reducing ~10% in fuel consumption, reducing the carbon footprint, and in addition substantially reducing maintenance costs. |
![]() | gas turbine combustor test run Test run of the combustion chamber of the gas turbine project that I'm working on. Fuel is liquid mapp gas. A leaf blower was used to provide forced air. Unfortunately, my tampering with the regulator to increase the fuel flow now results in surging fuel pressure. Also the regulator freezes up very quickly. I redesigned the combustor and made the combustion chamber bigger since this video was made and now runs much better with the flame nearly fully contained. Now I just need to get a turbo and an oil pump from somewhere. |
![]() | RV LP Gas System Repair and Maintenance DIY http://www.pedatarvcenter.com You can locate this compartment by walking around the coach and finding the compartment that has a handle on it but with no lock. It is against the law to have a lock on it in case of an emergency you can access it promptly and turn off the gas. You then open up the compartment and you will see your LP tank. There is a gauge that tells you how much is inside the tank, there is also a fill station where you fill it up, always make sure the cap is returned after filling it up, so no debris gets inside. There is also a pressure release valve so when you are filling it, the pressure can escape through there so you can get the proper amount of propane in there. You can then locate the on and off valve. Of course when the unit is stored you want to close it, and when you are using it you want to open it. The LP regulator is right next to the on and off knob, which once a year you need to have checked out for leaks. The proper way to do it is check it with a monometer. What this does is measure the water column inches of propane coming into the coach. The proper reading would be right around eleven. The average person does not have this device. So what you can do to check for leaks is turn the system on and get a spray bottle with soapy water in it and what you do is spray all your connections, what you are looking for at this point is if anything bubbles up, if you start to see some bubbling that means that there is a leak and he need to have that tightened up, fixed replaced or whatever you need to do. Any connection you're your coach that has an LP, like your refrigerator, stove, and water heater, all those have LP going through them so you want to check all the connections on those. You can check the one on the refrigerator which is located in the compartment right above this and you can just open it up and spray the soapy water on the connections to see if there is any bubbling. If there is a leak on any connections you may want to tighten it or take it in. http://www.pedatarvcenter.com |

Martial Law and Concentration Camps U.S.A. campo di prigionia e di concentramento. http://www.informationguerrilla.org/usa_le_sbarre_dentro_casa.htm ------------------------- The following video was recently sent to me, and after the shock wore off I started researching this video and story line behind it. What I have learned and seen has lead me to believe Soon they will convince the American people a state of anarchy exists within the major cities, Due to a wave of alleged crime sweeping the nation and false threats from abroad. They are now building their case almost nightly on TV and daily in newspapers. When public opinion has been won over to this idea they intend to state that a terrorist group armed with a nuclear weapon has entered the United States and that they plan to detonate this device in one of our cities. The government will then suspend the Constitution and declare martial law. All dissidents, which translated into anyone they choose, will be rounded up and will be placed in concentration camps which already exist throughout the country. The media, radio, TV, newspapers, and computer networks will be nationalized and seized. Anyone who resists will be taken or killed. This entire operation was rehearsed by the government and military in 1984 under the code name REX-84 and it went off without a hitch. When these events have transpired the secret government takeover will be complete. Your freedom will never be returned and you will live in slavery for the remainder of your life. You had better wake up and you had better do it now. ----------------- |
