GARRET DILLAHUNT

'Garret Dillahunt' (born November 24 1964 in Castro Valley, California) is an American actor who began his career on Broadway but later began pursuing film and television roles. He is notable for his portrayal of two distinct characters across the first two seasons on the HBO series ''Deadwood''; Jack McCall in 2004 and Francis Wolcott in 2005. He is married to actress Michelle Hurd.
Dillahunt also portrayed Steve Curtis, estranged husband of Samantha Taggart, in several episodes of the NBC television series ''ER'' in 2005 and 2006. Curtis and his associates execute a bloody escape from police custody while in the ER. He kidnaps Samantha and their son and later murders his fellow escapees.
Dillahunt's most recent roles include Dr. Michael Smith in the 2007 HBO drama ''John From Cincinnati'', Ed Miller in the upcoming ''The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford'', and Wendell in the Coen brothers' newest release, ''No Country For Old Men''.
