Notable cases

One of the more notable cases of a 'Garden Gnome Liberation Front' occurred in Paris, France in 1997. A French man was arrested and charged with stealing over 150 garden gnomes over a period of several years. He was reported to have struck again under the guise of the ''Garden Gnome Liberation Front'' during a garden show in 2000. ^[1]
