How to Win Playing Slot Machines
A former professional gambler explains why playing a slot machine is no way to win. He explains why winning at slots is not random, and why no skill is involved. He demonstrates how to program one of the popular slot machine models, which in itself proves that slot machines are programmed to take your money, instead of paying you a jackpot.
Slot Machine Winner! - Harrah's Casino New Orleans
The Triple Slotto giveth and the Blackjack Table taketh away. Don't gamble if you can't afford to lose, because chances are good that you will. Early June 2007. This was recorded exactly as it happened, ignoring everything but the Triple Slottos. I only stood up and took the camera out of my pocket for Triple Slottos. This video is vicarious fun that I like watching myself. Harrah's in New Orleans ought to comp me a Buffett, or 50. If they do, the Mo'PHoKa's gonna chow down. Ha ha and enjoy.
iPhone, the Ultimate Game machine?
http://www.uberpulse.com/us/2008/03/iphone_the_ultimate_portable_gaming_machine.php At the iPhone SDK launch, the kind of game EA and Sega both demonstrated blew me away (to use one of Jobs' favourite expression), knowing they were produced with only a couple developers and in less than 2 weeks. For me, gaming on the iPhone really looks like a home run. It's fast, realistic and it has the accelerometer sensor that literally replace the analog joystick and that game developers can finally take advantage of through the SDK. I now think of the iPhone or the iPod touch for that matter as a portable Nintendo Wii. Imagine being able to play golf or bowling by throwing your iPhone/iPod in the air! As this may sound crazy at first, I'm sure the creativity of game creators will blow me away... again. For me, it's also a lost opportunity for Nintendo and Sony that could have used some of the sensor technology in their portable console: the Nintendo DS and the PSP. To me, it also marks the end of Nokia's hope to succeed in the mobile video game arena with its N-Gage platform. The volume may still speak in favour of Nokia right now but the momentum and the excitement is definitely on the iPhone platform. Expect to see lots of really cool game on the iPhone from top tier publishers but also the smaller ones, thanks to Apple's direct software distribution system, through iTunes and the App Store. This direct model actually sounds very much like Nintendo's Wii Ware that's expected to launch in the U.S. in May. I tell you, Nintendo, and everybody else for that matter, missed the boat. http://www.uberpulse.com/us/2008/03/iphone_the_ultimate_portable_gaming_machine.php
