'Fintan Coyle' (born 1964) is a doctor and comedywriter who devised the original idea for ''The Weakest Link'' in 2000, it has since become a huge television hit in many countries. He also wrote the black medical comedy ''TLC'' which starred Reece Shearsmith (from ''The League of Gentlemen'') and Alexander Armstrong.
