OPERATION STELLA POLARIS

'Operation Stella Polaris' was cover name for activity where Finnish signals intelligence records, equipment and personnel were transported into Sweden after ending of Continuation war in 1944. Threat of Soviet occupation were considered too likely and operation was formed to support guerrilla warfare in Finland after occupation.
Leader of operation was Lieutenant Colonel Reino Hallamaa.
The records later fell into the hands of Americans.
