FEDERAL DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AND POLICE

The 'Federal Department of Justice and Police' (French: ''Département fédéral de justice et police'', German: ''Eidgenössisches Justiz- und Polizeidepartement'') is one of the seven departments of the Swiss federal government, headed by a member of the Swiss Federal Council, the Swiss minister of justice.
Until 1979, the department was called "Department of Justice and Police".
