FALLEN MONUMENT PARK
'Fallen Monument Park' is a park outside the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, Russia.
Since the Soviet era, the park has been the site of several large statues, notably one of Joseph Stalin. When the communist regime ended in 1991, the statues were toppled and left in place in their fallen form. For a time, the recumbent statues acted as park seats, but
have now been righted.
Some scenes in the movie GoldenEye and one of the levels in the Nintendo 64 game of same name were based on this park, although in both the game and movie, the park was located in St. Petersburg.
