ELIZABETH GOULD DAVIS

'Elizabeth Gould Davis' (1910 - 1974) was an American librarian who wrote a contentious book called ''The First Sex''.
She was born in Kansas, USA in 1910 and earnt her master's degree in librarianship at the University of Kentucky in 1951. She worked as a librarian at Sarasota, Florida and whilst there wrote ''The First Sex.'' She died in 1974.
