EDIRNE PROVINCE

'Edirne' is the westernmost province of Turkey, located in Eastern Thrace along the Greek border.
It is named for its capital, Edirne (known in antiquity after the Roman Emperor Hadrian as ''(H)Adrianòpolis'').
