'Dengie SPA' is a
Special Protection Area on the
North Sea coast of the
English county of
Essex.
It consists of large, remote area of tidal mud-flats and
saltmarshes at the eastern end of the
Dengie peninsula between the estuaries of the
Blackwater and
Crouch.
It is a wetland of international importance and provides habitats for:
