![]() | Audrey Manley for Illinois State Senate Audrey is a professional educator. From teaching college students at the University of St. Francis for over 20 years to leading a school as an administrator, Audrey has proven that leadership and teamwork pave the path to success. Her masters degree in education initiated her experience and began her commitment to life-long service. Throughout the years, her focus became two things: leadership and teamwork. This became even more apparent and prepared her for her next role: School Board President of District 205, Lockport Township High School, Lockport, Illinois. Audrey served the community as School Board President for four years, preceded by four years as a member. It was during this span of time that Lockport ranked as one of the ten least spending school districts in the collar counties. They also received national attention for their energy conservation and use of all-green cleaning and maintenance products. Audrey is also serves as a member of the following: Development committee member of Provena Senior Services and advisory board of Provena Villa Francisan Nursing Home Illinois Association of Teacher Educators Executive Board Association of Teacher Educators Delegate to the Assembly AAUW (American Association of University Women) Public Policy Chair, also past President Kappa Delta National Officer Delta Kappa Gamma member and Woman of the Year 2005 DKG Beta Rho Scholarship and International Chair |
