Manna Fest 390 The Gad Factor 1 of 3
Perry talks in Israel with his tour group. They are in the territory where the tribe of Gad once controlled. First He talks about Israel coming out of Egyptian bondage. He gives us how many men where in the tribes of Israel. He tells us why Joshua had to take his shoe off and Give it to the captain of the Lord. Perry Stone talks about 2 ½ tribes that didn't go into the promise land but stayed and did not go into the promise land. Three times a year men had to go and worship God. The group of people who had to go the furthest to worship God was the tribe of Gad. Gad and the other 1 ½ tribes built an altar near them. The other tribes and the high priest permitted it because Gad and the other tribes said it was to teach there children about God and to remind them. Jesus encountered more demons in the area of Gad than anywhere else in Israel. You should have a place in your house that you can meat with God at but that should not be you main altar. Your main altar should be at your church with his people. The Jesus factor will conquer the Gad factor. Exodus 12:40-41 -- Moses brought Israel out of Egyptian bondage - 40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. 41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. When Moses brought them out there were 12 main tribes of Israel Men Over in the 12 Tribes of Israel -- Numbers 1 Reuben (Jacob's* oldest son) 46,500 22-23 Simeon 59,300 24-25 Gad 45,650 26-27 Judah 74,600 28-29 Issachar 54,400 30-31 Zebulun 57,400 32-33 Ephraim son of Joseph 40,500 34-35 Manasseh son of Joseph 32,200 36-37 Benjamin 35,400 38-39 Dan 62,700 40-41 Asher 41,500 42-43 Naphtali 53,400 Total - 603,550 Joshua 5:15 - 15 And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so. Why did the captain say take thy shoe from thy foot? -- There was a law in the Land. -- Israel was in Egyptian bondage in for 400 years. But the promise land belonged to them. -- But to get it back legally Joshua had to give his shoe to they captain. Ruth 4:7-9 - 7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbor: and this was a testimony in Israel. 8 Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe. 9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi. Number 32:29-32 -- 2 ½ tribes decided to cross the Jordan River and inherit the promise land but to take land on the other side of the Jordan. - 29 and Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the Lord, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession: 30 but if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan. 31 And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the Lord hath said unto thy servants, so will we do. 32 We will pass over armed before the Lord into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours. Deuteronomy 6:10-11 - 10 And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, 11 and houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full Why they want to fall short of what God had promised them? -- Moses was buried on that side of the Jordan Deuteronomy 34:5-6 -- God buried Moses and He didn't want them to find where Moses was buried - 5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. 6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. Jude 9 -- Michael the ark angel wrestled with the devil over the body of Moses Joshua 3:17 -- The man of God said were not going to have it that way. He said we are going to go in as one body - 17 And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.

Isaiah- 12.How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14. And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will. Im doing this out of love and to show you in your error and pride, we all make mistakes, atheists as well as christians, pride has taken over christians probably more so than atheists especially in these times, this is very sad.. Titus 3:5 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
The Holy Bible - King James Version - Judges - Chapter 5
Judges 5 1.Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying, 2Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves. 3Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, [even] I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing [praise] to the LORD God of Israel. 4LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water. 5The mountains melted from before the LORD, [even] that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel. 6.In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied, and the travellers walked through byways. 7[The inhabitants of] the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel. 8They chose new gods; then [was] war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel? 9My heart [is] toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless ye the LORD. 10Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way. 11[They that are delivered] from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, [even] the righteous acts [toward the inhabitants] of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates. 12.Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam. 13Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty. 14Out of Ephraim [was there] a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer. 15And the princes of Issachar [were] with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions of Reuben [there were] great thoughts of heart. 16Why abodest thou among the sheepfolds, to hear the bleatings of the flocks? For the divisions of Reuben [there were] great searchings of heart. 17Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches. 18Zebulun and Naphtali [were] a people [that] jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field. 19The kings came [and] fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money. 20They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera. 21The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, thou hast trodden down strength. 22Then were the horsehoofs broken by the means of the pransings, the pransings of their mighty ones. 23Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty. 24.Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent. 25He asked water, [and] she gave [him] milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish. 26She put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen's hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head, when she had pierced and stricken through his temples. 27At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay down: at her feet he bowed, he fell: where he bowed, there he fell down dead. 28The mother of Sisera looked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot [so] long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots? 29Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself, 30Have they not sped? have they [not] divided the prey; to every man a damsel [or] two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides, [meet] for the necks of [them that take] the spoil? 31So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but [let] them that love him [be] as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
