How the sun really works
(see links below for details of this model, numerous peer reviewed publications, and direct observational evidence) The first thing that any person can see is that the current standard model of the sun is highly inadequate. Its assumes that the top of the convection zone (photosphere) is the final stage in the mechanism that makes the sun shine. But this is not true. It has no explanation for the majority of the sun from this point onwards, it fails to explain why the photosphere is at a temperature minimum, it fails to explain why the corona is millions and millions of degrees hotter than the sun, it fails to explain why the solar wind stops completely on occasions (sometimes for days), it fails to explain why the equator rotates more rapidly than the rest of the sun, the filamentary structure of the corona, why particles accelerate with increasing distance to the sun, and a whole host of other issues that are better explained with the electric sun model. The main Problems with the current model of the sun are as follows: * Temperature of the halo-like corona is 300 times that of surface, violating the inverse square law for radiation * Rotates faster at equator, faster on surface * Solar wind accelerates (somehow) upon leaving the Sun * Sunspots reveal cooler interior * Sunspots travel faster than surrounding surface * Sunspot penumbra (interior walls) reveal structured filaments and move much faster than slow convection should allow An eletcrical model would solve many of these problems. To its advantage the electric sun model is relatively simple. It is entirely self consistent and does not require the existence of mysterious entities such as the unseen solar dynamo that lurks somewhere behind the fusion model and creates impossible 'tangled magnetic fields' that produce sunspots. (The very word dynamo was coined by electrical engineers to describe a direct current generator. Magnetic fields are produced by electric currents in coils, inductors and transformers, not by the movement of hot gasses.). The ES model does not require arbitrary adjustments, exceptions to the laws of physics, or after-the-fact speculations. It passes the Occam's razor test far better than the current model. In the ES sun hypothesis, the power of the sun does not lie deep within it, the sun sits as the focus of not only the planets but also a large plasmasphere. Due to its size the sun has a large electric capacitance; this capacitance receives charge from cosmic (birkeland) currents that exist in our arm of the galaxy. The sun thus exhibits a relatively high voltage. The suns voltage multiplied by the total value of current coming towards it could be sufficient to produce the suns observed power output. The sun is powered by its galactic environment, and not from within itself. http://www.electric-cosmos.org/sun.htm Check out these links for some direct proof of this model, and the science behind it; http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/freeabs_all.jsp?tp=&arnumber=4287093&isnumber=4287017 http://adsabs.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/nph-bib_query?bibcode=2001A%26A...376..288I&db_key=AST&data_type=HTML&format=&high=45cce9d73305181 http://www.onr.navy.mil/Focus/spacesciences/research/sun.htm http://archives.cnn.com/2001/TECH/space/11/21/solar.gas/index.html http://spaceflightnow.com/news/n0111/21sohogas/ http://www.mssl.ucl.ac.uk/www_astro/news/gtbr/rx1914.html http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/freeabs_all.jsp?arnumber=4346305 http://www.plasma-universe.com/index.php/Texts:On_Possible_Electric_Phenomena_in_Solar_Systems_and_Nebulae http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap021003.html http://www.plasma-universe.com/index.php/Heliospheric_current_circuit http://www.spacetoday.org/SolSys/Sun/SunGasFallsInward.html http://adsabs.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/nph-bib_query?bibcode=1996Ap%26SS.244...89P&db_key=AST&data_type=HTML&format=&high=45cce9d73311457 http://www.springerlink.com/content/k38204671658130q/ http://www.electric-cosmos.org/hrdiagr.htm http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2005ApJ...633L..57S http://www.aanda.org/index.php?option=article&access=standard&Itemid=129&url=/articles/aa/abs/2001/24/aah2649/aah2649.html plasma galaxy formation (peer reviewed); http://www.plasma-universe.com/index.php/Galaxy_formation Keywords; hannes alfven, eric lerner, anthony peratt, kristian birkeland, charles bruce, halton arp donald scoot wallace thornhill ralph juergens plasma cosmology plasma universe electric universe
The Elevator Dance
Demo for a song called The Elevator Dance...which is just a rough draft for Unlucky Fried Kitten to work on. The song was written in 1983...lol. It has never been done live in any of Andy's previous bands (death in venice, martini slutz, acceleration, basement mania etc) but UFK might just do it. Obviously better than this...ha ha. Primitive elevators were in use as early as the 3rd century BC, operated by human, animal, or water wheel power. From about the middle of the 19th century, power elevators, often steam-operated, were used for conveying materials in factories, mines, and warehouses. In 1853, American inventor Elisha Otis demonstrated a freight elevator equipped with a safety device to prevent falling in case a supporting cable should break. This increased public confidence in such devices. Otis established a company for manufacturing elevators and patented (1861) a steam elevator. In 1846, Sir William Armstrong introduced the hydraulic crane, and in the early 1870s, hydraulic machines began to replace the steam-powered elevator. The hydraulic elevator is supported by a heavy piston, moving in a cylinder, and operated by the water (or oil) pressure produced by pumps. Electric elevators came into to use toward the end of the 19th century. The first one was built by the German inventor Werner von Siemens in 1880. How Elevators Work In a typical elevator, the car is raised and lowered by six to eight motor-driven wire ropes that are attached to the top of the car at one end, travel around a pair of sheaves, and are again attached to a counterweight at the other end. The counterweight adds accelerating force when the elevator car is ascending and provides a retarding effort when the car is descending so that less motor horsepower is required. The counterweight is a collection of metal weights that is equal to the weight of the car containing about 45% of its rated load. A set of chains are looped from the bottom of the counterweight to the underside of the car to help maintain balance by offsetting the weight of the suspension ropes. Guide rails that run the length of the shaft keep the car and counterweight from swaying or twisting during their travel. Rollers are attached to the car and the counterweight to provide smooth travel along the guide rails. The traction to raise and lower the car comes from the friction of the wire ropes against the grooved sheaves. The main sheave is driven by an electric motor. Most elevators use a direct current motor because its speed can be precisely controlled to allow smooth acceleration and deceleration. Motor-generator (M-G) sets typically provide to dc power for the drive motor. Newer systems use a static drive control. The elevator controls vary the motor's speed based on a set of feedback signals that indicate the car's position in the shaftway. As the car approaches its destination, a switch near the landing signals the controls to stop the car at floor level. Additional shaftway limit switches are installed to monitor overtravel conditions. more Elisha Otis Elisha Otis invented the "Improvement in Hoisting Apparatus." Elisha Otis didn't actually invent the elevator, he invented the brake used in modern elevators. His brakes made skyscrapers a practical reality. (above illustration - patent drawing of the Elisha Otis elevator) Elisha Otis Elisha Otis was inspired to design what was then called the "safety elevator". History of Elevators By 1850, steam and hydraulic elevators had been introduced, but it was in 1852 that the landmark event in elevator history occurred: the invention of the world's first safety elevator.

Rapa Nui - Easter Island - Isla de Pascua
Travel to Easter Island (2005). Viaje a la Isla de Pascua (2005). Easter Island (Rapa Nui in Tahitian and today also in Rapa Nui language, Isla de Pascua in Spanish) is an island in the south Pacific Ocean belonging to Chile. The island is famous for its numerous moai, the stone statues located along the coastlines. Easter Island was given its common name of "Easter" because the first recorded European visit, by the Dutch Admiral Jacob Roggeveen, was on Easter Sunday, 1722. The island's official Spanish name, Isla de Pascua, is a direct translation of "Easter Island". The current Polynesian name of the island, Rapa Nui or "Big Rapa", was coined by labor immigrants from Rapa in the Bass Islands, who likened it to their home island in the aftermath of the Peruvian slave deportations in the 1870s. However, Thor Heyerdahl has claimed that the naming would have been just the opposite, Rapa being the original name of Easter Island and Rapa Iti named by its refugees. There are several options for the "original" Polynesian name for Easter Island. Most often mentioned is Te pito o te henua, or the "The Navel of the World" due to its isolation. Legends claim that the island was first named as Te pito o te kainga a Hau Maka, or the "Little piece of land of Hau Maka". Global Resorts Network and has seen vast expansion that in the last year due to their compensation plan called Perpetual Leverage. Most companies start with small groups of salesmen and managers working to stake a small market share from which they will later expand. This system works, however it takes a long time to develop and once the company starts to expand the capital investment becomes even more extensive. The perpetual leverage system employed by Global Resorts Network and Al Morales is utilized because of how it differs from the conventional. We have all heard GRN's concept before whenever you see, "sign-on a friend and get $50". GRN has just taken that idea to the next level. They have created a system that generates a potential salesman from every customer and client, capable of earning a commission. Perpetual leverage created a system in which a company can start with a small sales team and small capital investment and give itself a chance to expand immediately and without a huge jump in capital investment. In short, from a GRN Client and home business owner/seller viewpoint -- Go on vacation, bring a friend, sell it to him, and make a profit. This product sells itself. Just bring a couple of your friends on a $298 dollar trip to Cancun for the entire week and tell them how much it cost you. Bridging Heaven & Earth Show # 151 with Daniel Pinchbeck
Daniel, author of the extraordinary new book, "Breaking Open the Head", has written features for The New York Times Magazine, Esquire, Wired, Harper's Bazaar, The Village Voice, Salon, and many other publications. He is one of the founders of Open City, an art and literary journal, and an independent book publisher. Daniel was a 1999 - 2000 Fellow of the National Arts Journalism Program at Columbia University. He has also been a columnist for The Art Newspaper of London, and an editor at Connoisseur Magazine. Born in 1966, he grew up in New York City, where his father, Peter Pinchbeck, was an abstract painter. His mother, Joyce Johnson, was part of the Beat Generation in the 1950s. She is the author of several books, including Minor Characters, a memoir. Daniel went to Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, then worked as a magazine editor and journalist, In the late 1990s, after years of working in the media, Daniel fell into the classic existential or spiritual crisis. Life seemed to have no point or transcendent meaning. He began to feel as if he was already dead, a ghost walking around the streets of Manhattan. At some point he recalled his fascination with psychedelic mushrooms and LSD in college. Daniel experimented again, and his experiences inspired him to travel to Nepal and India, where he visited Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and the sacred Hindu festival Kumbh Mehla. Back in New York, he began to study shamanism and the magical plants used in rituals. On assignment, he went to Gabon, in West Africa, and took iboga, a long-lasting psychedelic rootbark, in an initiation ceremony. Daniel visited a shaman in Oaxaca, the son of the famous shamaness Maria Sabina. He attended a conference on "Visionary Entheobotany" in Palenque, Mexico and visited Burning Man. He went down to the Ecuadorean Amazon to visit the Secoya tribe and take ayahuasca, a visionary medicine. "Breaking Open the Head" describes his own process of discovery, and a profound paradigm shift. Daniel admits to still being surprised - even extremely astonished - at what he has found. Through direct experience, he learned that shamanism was a real phenomenon, that direct access to the spiritual world is available to anybody who is willing to explore for themselves and escape the prevailing orthodoxies, the "irrational rationality" of the current system. Daniel supports the perspective of Christ in the Gnostic "Gospel of Thomas," who said: "Open the door for yourself, so you will know what is." Bridging's website is: www.HeavenToEarth.com
