A 'customary land title' is a concept in the law of
Papua New Guinea. It refers to the fact that the traditional lands of idiginous peoples can not be taken away.
[1] The Constitution of the country wishes for traditional villages and communities to remain as viable units of Papua New Guinean society and this is what the law attempts to achieve.
