COMMON CAUSE


'Common Cause' is a nonpartisan lobbying group based in Washington, D.C. in the United States. Its current president and CEO is Robert W. Edgar.[1][2]
Founded in 1970 by John W. Gardner,[3] Common Cause employs professional lobbyists, researchers and advocates who work with its members and activists for campaign finance reform, accountability in government, media reform and other issues. It has been a client of Grassroots Campaigns, Inc.
Common Cause published ''Common Cause Magazine,''[4] once termed "the little magazine that could,"[5] from 1980 through 1996.
