The resort officially opened in 1986 and is decorated accordingly. It is the first golf course in the world to feature a movable floating green (the 14th). It was built by Duane Hagadone and Jerry Jaeger.
The resort in an ariel image of the city. The resort can be seen near the lake.
The resort buildings were designed by architect, R.G. Nelson. The resort has won many awards, most being from golf magazines. [1] It also claims to house the world's longest floating boardwalk.
