We also have alot of empty commercial spaces in massena that can be easily fixed up for new business. why destoy when you can renovate and preserve? why bullt a new building when you renovate an old one? it can cost just as much to demolished a structure as to renovating it! Just travel to other nearby communities and you will see character in the homes and old buildings that massena no longer sees. only sixth structures are still existing that I know of before the year 1860. --The massena first baptist church is in grave danger at this time. PLEASE IF ANYBODY OUT THERE WITH LOTS OF MONEY WHO CARES ABOUT PRESERVATION BUY THE CHURCH --EVEN IF YOU LIVE IN CALIFORNIA!! THEN AS A TAX RIGHT OFF DONATE IT BACK TO THE COMMUNITY FOR A NEW MUSEUM! WE NEED A BETTER AND BIGGER LOCATION FOR THE MASSENA MUSEUM. |
