CASATENOVO

'Casatenovo' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 30 km northeast of Milan and about 20 km southwest of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 12,242 and an area of 12.7 km².^[1]
The municipality of Casatenovo contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Galgiana, Campofiorenzo, Cascina Bracchi, Valaperta, and Rogoredo.
Casatenovo borders the following municipalities: Besana in Brianza, Camparada, Correzzana, Lesmo, Lomagna, Missaglia, Monticello Brianza, Usmate Velate.
