CANADA COMMAND
'Canada Command' ('Canada COM') is responsible for all domestic Canadian and North American continental joint military operations by the Canadian Forces. Created in 2006, it does not replace the structure for regular domestic command.
★ Lieutenant-General M.J. Dumais, CMM, CD is the commander of Canada Command. He was appointed in May 2006.
Canada Command is divided into six Joint Task Force Regions:
★ JTF North - Northern Canada
★ JTF Pacific - British Columbia
★ JTF West - Prairie provinces
★ JTF Central - Ontario
★ JTF East - Quebec
★ JTF Atlantic - Atlantic Canada
