CAMALú

Camalú is a populated place on the Baja California peninsula, Mexico.
In Camalú one can relax on the beach and play in the warm surf. Surfing, dune buggie riding, sailing, world class fishing, claming and crabbing are all popular activities in the area.
The main town is on Mexican Federal Highway 1, 175 km south of Tijuana. Drive time is about 2 hours south of Ensenada. There are not many places in Mexico where the highway is close to the beach. For about 40 miles, from Colonet to El Rosario you can see the ocean from the highway. There is almost no development in this area but it may change in the near future. For 5 years, plans have been progressing for a major port in Colonet, with rail access to Yuma, Arizona.
