Out of Africa: A Migrant's Perilous Journey - CBN.com
Every day dozens, sometimes hundreds, of Africans cram into tiny boats and set sail for the shores of Europe.
Call To Africa
Visit us at http://www.bobgriffin.org http://www.gideonwarriorsnetwork.org I have been hearing the call of Africa for nearly 17 years. We first began to answer the call in 1998 as we helped to establish a Christian school in Jos, Nigeria. At that time both whites and Christians were being persecuted and murdered for their faith Churches were being burned down; sometimes as many as 3-5 a day. The radicals were within 100 kilometers of the work we were helping to establish. Since that time, we began to approach our outreach in a more elaborate way. For 2 1/2 years we reached out on TRINITY BROADCASTING NETWORK with a program that reached over 40 nations by satellite. Through our TBN program we were able to plant a church in one of the poorest regions of Namibia, a city called Katatura. At the time of this writing, we have been told that the church must now meet twice a day, 7 days a week, for there is no room for all the people who are hungering for the reality of a risen Christ! We now are faced with the challenge of raising a building to help nurture the people. We are now reaching out to Zambia, Congo, and Kenya as well as helping to nurture those who are drifting in South Africa. On May 2nd 2007 to June 6th 2007 we will be aligning ourselves with those on the ground who have graciously gone before us to prepare the way. Our desire is to bring a message of hope to those who are wandering, hungry, and poor; to feed the POW's (the poor, the orphaned, and the widowed). We will be preaching and prophesying day and night with as many as 7 stadium crusades. We will be preaching in some of the largest venues available as well as Television and Radio.
