Shaggy. The title song "Bombastic" was a
hit song spending a week at number one on the
U.S. R&B chart, and a similar stint atop the
UK Singles Chart. There are two different versions of this song. The original mix which incorporates a sample of
Marvin Gaye's
Let's Get It On and a remix by
Sting, both of which are featured on the album.
The remixed song was featured in the 1995
Levi's ad "Clayman" directed by Michael Mort and Deiniol Morris where it gained widespread exposure. It was also used in the 2006
film, ''
Barnyard''. It was also heard in the movie,
Mr Bean's Holiday. It sold over one million copies in the U.S. alone.
