![]() | Jai Mata Di. Shri Durga Gayatri {27 Repetitions} Haum/Aum/Om Girijaye Vidmahe Shiva Priyaye Dhimhi Tanno Durga Prachodyat Due to upload restrictions below to 10 minutes per video I've uploaded 27 repetitions n Kindly repeat 4 times of this video + one single Mantra to complete your one Mala jaap of 108+1. Maa Durga Ji is another incarnation of Parvati, the wife of Shiva and a Divine Mother Herself. She is the Mother who is in a rage to protect her children from danger. She was produced from the radiance of all the gods and represents the unified forces of light. Shiva gave her a trident (Trishool), Vishnu gave her a discus (Chakra), Varuna gave her a conch (Shank), Marut gave her the bow and arrow, Indra gave her the thunderbolt, Yama, lord of Death, gave her a scepter, Brahma gave her a water pot, Kala, Lord of Time, gave her the sword and shield, Vishwakarma gave her an axe and armor and the Sun God gave her his radiance. Thus Durga is a woman of power, courage, justice, fearlessness, valour, wisdom and radiance and becomes an invincible warrior A Goddess who destroys evil! Recite Durga Gayathri to fight suffering, injustice, diseases, poverty, delusion, envy, depression and emotional vices. It is intriguing that Goddess Durga violates the model of a Hindu woman. She is not submissive, she is not subordinated to a male deity, she does not fulfill household duties and she excels at what is traditionally a male function - fighting a battle. She reverses the normal role for female, not leading her power to a male consort but rather takes power from the male gods in order to perform her own heroic exploits. In Devi Bhagavat purana, the demon Mahisa insisted that as a woman the goddess is too delicate and beautiful for anything but love play, and that she should come under the protection and guidance of a man in order to fulfill her place in society. This led to Mahisa's humiliation and eventually destruction. It is astounding that all forms of Durga's mythical exploits portray her as independent from male support and relationship, yet she is extremely powerful. She is beautiful and feminine but her beauty does not serve its normal function which is to attract a husband but, perhaps, to attract the evil that she destroys. It is essential at this juncture to note that the ancient Devi Bhagavatham was preaching women to be courageous, instead of being submissive. Maa, Kindly forget my errors allover. *Jai Mata Di* Info About This Video :- ARTIST : J I T E N D E R S I N G H ALBUM : D U R G A G A Y A T R I TRACK : 06/108 D U R G A G A Y A T R I J A A P PRESENTATION : I S H A M U S I C |
