'Beckenham Junction' is a railway station and a tram terminus in Beckenham, southeast London. It is in the London Borough of Bromley and Travelcard Zone 4, 8.6 miles (13.8 km) from London Victoria.
The station is at the higher end of the high street, between Waitrose and St George's Church. Trains operate between Kent and Victoria and to local stations in South London, including Gipsy Hill, Orpington, Bromley South and Brixton. Eurostar trains pass through without stopping. There are five platforms: two through, two bay and one Tramlink.
Just outside the railway station building are a bus stop and the terminus for Tramlink Route 2 services from East and West Croydon.

The station was opened by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway (LCDR) on 1 January 1857 as the terminus of the line from Lewisham; it became a junction on 7 July 1858 when the Bromley Junction (north of Norwood Junction) - Bickley line was opened by the LCDR.

Tramlink

The tramlink station at Beckenham opened along with the rest of route 2 in 2000. This station is also the terminus of Tramlink route 2 services which travel on the Croydon loop around Croydon and back to this station. There is technically only one platform for this stop in terms with the national rail station the bays are called left and right not tramlink platform 1 or two. But in terms of tramlink they are two different platforms, unlike the next stop down, there is an island in the middle with the lines on either side. Usually it's right which is used, but now on rare services to Wimbledon and the IKEA at Ampere Way left is used instead.
The tramlink stop is actually located outside the main station, across the car park from the National Rail lines, but is on the A2105 which is a road which avoids Beckenham town centre. The station along with New Addington tram stop are the only tramlink terminuses which have two platforms, as both Wimbledon and Elmers End are only one platform opposite another line.
