'Bełchatów' (
IPA: ) is a city in central
Poland, with 62,437 inhabitants (2004). It is located in
Łódź Voivodeship and is the capital of
Bełchatów County.
Industry
Bełchatów has the largest coal fueled thermal power plant in Europe, the
Elektrownia Bełchatów.
