BATTLE OF ESQUIROZ


The 'Battle of Esquiroz' was fought near Pamplona on June 30, 1521, during the Italian War of 1521. A makeshift Spanish army defeated the French forces under Henry d'Albret and Lesparre, driving them out of Navarre.
