'Barranquenho' (''Barranquenhu'';
English: Barrancainian) is a dialect of
Portuguese heavily influenced by
Extremaduran spoken in the Portuguese town of
Barrancos (in the border between
Extremadura and
Andalusia, in
Spain, and
Portugal).
Barranquenho has no official recognition from the Portuguese State, but it is learned in school by children.
