BANEPA

'Banepa' (Nepal Bhasa: भोंत) is a small town with a population of about 15,000 located 27 km east of Kathmandu, Nepal. The main attraction of Banepa is the temple of Chandeshwari, located approximately 1 km northeast of the town along the Chandeshwari River. In Banepa there is also Scheer Memorial Hospital of Seventh-day Adventists, established in 1957.
Banepa is the proposed cyber city of Nepal. The Information Technology Park is being built in border of three municipalities of Kavre; Banepa, Dhulikhel and Panauti and there is debate about the the official emplacement. Still all the three towns are declared as the cyber cities.
