'Autonomic ganglia' are clusters of
neuronal cell bodies and their
dendrites and are essentially a junction between autonomic nerves originating from the
central nervous system and autonomic nerves innervating their target organs in the periphery.
The two main categories are:

Parasympathetic ganglia
