AUSTRALIAN ANTARCTIC DIVISION

The 'Australian Antarctic Division' (abbreviated as 'AAD') is the division of the Department of the Environment and Water Resources which manages Australia's Antarctic and sub-Antarctic stations and territories as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) project. The AAD is based in Kingston, Tasmania, just south of Hobart.
