ATHELM

'Athelm,' or 'Æthelhelm' was an English churchman, who was the first Bishop of Wells, and later Archbishop of Canterbury.

Early life

He was related to Dunstan.[1]
Bishop of Wells

He is said to have been a monk of Glastonbury before his elevation in 909 to the see of Wells, of which he was the first occupant.Powicke ''Handbook of British Chronology'' p. 205
Archbishop of Canterbury

In 914 he became Archbishop of Canterbury.
Death and afterward
